Judith Ann Joness leads the congregation in worship and directs The Chancel

Choir. In pre-covid days, she organized and lead two

cantatas every year as well as organizing a couple

evenings services of special performances by many

church members. She also coordinates people to fill in

during her absenses. Her desire is to always be a willing

vessel working in the Kingdom, for the Lord and does this

on a volunteer basis for First Church of God. She is a

wife, mother and grandmother, with family spread long

distances from Roanoke. She was married to the late Dr.

W.W. (Bill) Joness. First Church of God is truly blessed to have a such a

dedicated person serving us.
